Differences from other code attributes

The basic code differs. A standard open link does not contain additional instructions for search robots, so they freely follow it and take it into account during crawling. Instead, there are special tags that significantly change the behavior of crawlers and limit the transfer of page authority, which is important for the correct distribution of the site's internal weight.

The main types of restrictive tags are:

  • The nofollow attribute is used for a general closing of links to which the webmaster does not want to pass their site's trust.
  • The sponsored tag is used exclusively to designate advertising materials, sponsored publications, and paid placements.
  • The ugc tag is intended for user-generated content, such as blog comments or posts on open forums.

Criteria for choosing trust platforms

Donor quality is critical. For safe and effective placement, it is necessary to set specific technical requirements for platforms. Ignoring these parameters can lead to a waste of budget or even harm the promoted project by lowering positions due to a poor-quality link profile.

Metrics matter. Specialists look for a domain rating of 30 points or higher and an organic traffic level of at least 1,000 targeted visitors per month. It is also important to select diverse regional domains so that the profile looks as natural as possible to search engine algorithms.

Mandatory conditions for checking a resource:

  1. The site must have a clear thematic focus that matches or logically overlaps with your business niche.
  2. The resource cannot be created solely for the mass sale of links or participation in automated link farms.
  3. Traffic dynamics should show steady growth or a plateau without sharp prolonged drops or penalties from search engines.

Rapid growth is dangerous. An excessively fast increase in the number of incoming open links raises suspicion from search engines. Algorithms can instantly recognize unnatural bursts of activity, which often leads to manual or automatic filters being applied to the target page, halting promotion.

Automation harms rankings. Using special software or services for mass link generation is a direct violation of the rules. Excessive direct link exchange between two pages also negatively affects the resource's positions. To maintain search engine trust, it is necessary to adhere to a smooth and stable schedule for publishing new content, avoiding manipulative techniques.
